Welcome to The Bead Shop New Zealand
This site is an extension of our three well established shops in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand. We (John Menzies and Lee Eliott) originally set up the first shop in Queenstown in August 2001, with a vision of wanting people of all ages to get back into the world of creating for themselves, truly unique wearable art.

With a little bit of help from us and the availabilty of beads from all over the world and all the tools necessary to give people this opportunity, the idea has since expanded to Dunedin and Christchurch.

Our friendly experienced staff are constantly making and creating their own hand-crafted designs. Examples of the vast range of possiblities are on display in our shops.
